Stewards and Helpers

As FolkStation grows, not just in size, but in complexity, we need more help to make the weekend run smoothly. We start setting up the site Wednesday with marquees etc. Friday involves moving, lifting and general site dressing. Ideally stewards who help set up would also be available on Monday so things go back to where they came from!

During the weekend itself, from mid Friday afternoon, we need door and venue stewards. Normal ticket checking and site security duties are all within our self contained site, so you will never be far from the action.

In return for 3 - 4 hours work each day, (probably more if you are task force!) you will receive a full weekend season ticket. This allows you entry to all the events. In addition you may purchase tickets for the steam train at a special reduced rate. If you are coming from the mainland, we can arrange for you to have a discounted fare on the ferry at the price of £50 for your car or small campervan. This ferry ticket includes up to 4 people in the vehicle.
