We are welcoming one of our favourite local bands back to this year’s festival. After their appearance at our 2011 festival, five piece band Beachcomber have had some changes of personnel and now comprise:
Kerry Scriver singing
Vince Scriver on backing vocals, mandola and mandolin
Becky Haydock playing fiddle and banjo
Andy Noctor on guitar
Ed Miller on bass and vocals
Their music has a folk sound and influences range from classical to metal so they are a bit alternative but keeping a traditional, lyrical, British folk sound ingrained throughout.
They have performed at numerous festivals both on home territory on the Isle of Wight and further afield, including the Rhythmtree Festival 2010 and 2011, Folkstation 2011, Isle of Arts Festival 2011, Wolverton Folk Fair 2011 and Cowes Week 2010 and 2011 as well as local venues.
