Caulkheads
Caulkheads are an amplified acoustic band with have many years of experience playing for Ceilidhs and Barn Dances. We come from varied musical backgrounds and play music ranging from English, Irish and Scottish to American, Breton, Czech and Romanian. Our sound could best be described as lively or even stompy, however our infill music can be lively or gentle, ranging from polkas to waltzes.
The band members include:
- Adrian - Melodeon, base drum, bodhran
- Kevin - Bodhran, Flute, Whistle, Pipes
- Katherine - Fiddle
- Rob - Guitar
- Brian - Caller, Bodhran, Concertina
Our dances are a mix of traditional and contemporary.
